What is the FLASH 10-Day Push-Up Challenge?

Nothing beats the power of the pushup! People often think it’s a chest exercise, but they’d be missing out on the fact that it’s a full body workout. From your shoulders to your back, your core and all the way down to your rear end. Push-ups are the all-mighty, body weight exercise and they pay off with big results! This is a quick challenge to FLASH you into shape with just 10 days of intense push-ups. How many can you do? Well, sign up and let’s see! The general goal is 1000: 100 per day x 10 days.

When does the FLASH 10-Day Push-Up Challenge start?

We will do this challenge together in the private community facebook page Monday, April 19th, 2021. If you’re not a member, join now! We’ll have a daily check in prompt for accountability and motivation. If you have missed the community challenge date, no problem! There are not dates on this tracker so you can still download it for you and your friends and do this challenge anytime!

What results can I expect from the FLASH 10-Day Push-Up Challenge?

That’s up to you! Results are always 100% dependent on your commitment and effort. The challenge is designed to get you focused on building full body strenght through push-ups in just 10 days.  When done perfectly, you’ll definitely feel the benefits with pushups becoming easier throughout the challenge. And towards the end, you will likely even see the results in your upper body.

A Few More Details about the FLASH 10-Day Push-Up Challenge?

  • You do not need to do all your push-ups per day at one time. You can break them up throughout the day. Make a plan like 25 first thing in the morning, 25 before you start work, 25 at lunch and before dinner. Whatever works for you.
  • Any type of pushup will do based on your fitness level. Full length, on your toe push-ups are the hardest. But you can also do them on your knees or even on a wall and progress as you get stronger. No-ego-amigo, honor your body and the process.
  • Quality ALWAYS trumps quantity. You’re only cheating your gains by doing mediocre push-ups. See this post from the Plank & Push-up Challenge for details on each type.

Do I have to pay for this Challenge?

Nope! My community challenges have always been free. I’m all about barrier free/excuse free exercise and I’ve been hosting free fitness challenges since 2013. My goal is to get you moving and having fun no matter what. However, I did recently put in the option to pay if you’d like. You can pay anywhere from $1 for the full challenge or up to $1 per day (in this case $10) for my challenges from now on.

Why would I pay for a Challenge if I don’t have to?

Great question and there are two answers:

  1. Most of the time, you get what you pay for. I’ve hosted free community challenges for years, but I’ve never offered free coaching. And that is because when you’re willing to put (even a little) money on the line, it levels up your commitment. And your results are 100% reliant on your commitment to follow through. By giving you the option to pay, you have the chance to make a larger commitment to yourself to help ensure you get better results!
  2. Let’s be real, this girl has gotta pay the bills (lol). I’ve been hosting challenges for so long, they are fairly “easy” for me to do at this point.  But if these challenge can generate (even a little) revenue, it will allow me to invest more into them. I’ll be able to provide more support, resources, encouragement and advice.  You’ll notice this is an ad-free blog and I no longer feature sponsored content like I have in the past.

The Fine Print & Legalese for the FLASH 10-Day Push-Up Challenge:

  1. Always talk to your doctor or health care provider before making any changes to your diet or exercise.
  2. You are in charge of your health and safety. This challenge serves as a guidance tool and should never supersede information you’ve received from a local practitioner.
  3. If you have questions about your form, body or modifications beyond what is provided, you need to work with a local personal trainer or run coach who can see you individually so that you get the best advice for your specific needs. I will not customize this plan for you without seeing you, it simply isn’t safe.
  4. By signing up for this challenge, you acknowledge this is a DIY challenge, you release liability and vow to work with a local trainer if you have questions and promise to be smart and safe
