This Plankathon Challenge is a fun way to tally up minutes to see how long you can plank for in 20 days. It’s also a GREAT way to see some impressive, full body strength gains in just a few minutes per day.

What is the 20-Day Plankathon Challenge?

An opportunity to see just how long you can plank in 20 days! Can you do an hour? Can you do more? We won’t know until we try! You’ll focus each day on holding a plank, or a series of planks for as long as you can. You’ll keep track of your minutes on the challenge tracker and share in our community group. Not only will it be fun to watch the minutes add up, the strength gains should be measurable as well!

When does the 20-Day Plankathon Challenge start?

We will do this challenge together in the private community facebook page Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. If you’re not a member, join now! We’ll have a daily check-in prompt for accountability and motivation. If you have missed the community challenge date, no problem! There are not dates on this tracker so you can still download it for you and your friends and do this challenge anytime.

How do I participate in the 20-Day Plankathon Challenge?

It’s easy! Just download your tracker by registering here, be sure you’re in the community facebook group and get ready. Plan and hold your planks, share your progress and enjoy the benefits of feeling in control of your fitness and getting stronger and leaner.

What results can I expect from the 20-Day Plankathon Challenge?

That is always a tough question because your results are 100% dependent on your commitment and effort. The challenge is designed to get you focused on daily exercise to improve your core strength (obviously. But planks also work your chest, back, shoulders, thighs, glutes and calves. They are one of those miracle moves that when done right, help you make massive gains in minimal time. And while there is little structure to this challenge on a daily basis, we will start with one static plank held for as long as possible and also finish that way. Which means you’ll be able to measure not just how many total minutes you held, you’ll also see just how much stronger you got!

Do I have to pay for this Challenge?

Nope! My community challenges have always been free. I’m all about barrier free/excuse free exercise and I’ve been hosting free fitness challenges since 2013. My goal is to get you moving and having fun no matter what. However, I did recently put in the option to pay if you’d like. You can pay anywhere from $5 for the full challenge or up to $1 per day (in this case $20) for my challenges from now on.

Why would I pay for a Challenge if I don’t have to?

Great question and there are two answers:

  1. Most of the time, you get what you pay for. I’ve hosted free community challenges for years, but I’ve never offered free coaching. And that is because when you’re willing to put (even a little) money on the line, it levels up your commitment. And your results are 100% reliant on your commitment to follow through. By giving you the option to pay, you have the chance to make a larger commitment to yourself to help ensure you get better results!
  2. Let’s be real, this girl has gotta pay the bills (lol). I’ve been hosting challenges for so long, they are fairly “easy” for me to do at this point.  But if these challenge can generate (even a little) revenue, it will allow me to invest more into them. I’ll be able to provide more support, resources, encouragement and advice.  You’ll notice this is an ad-free blog and I no longer feature sponsored content like I have in the past.
